I'm Juan Pablo Sola-Thomas, a Mechanical Engineering student at Clarkson University, with a completed Undergraduate Certificate in Themed Entertainment Design from Purdue University. I’ve had the privilege of leading and contributing to a range of innovative projects that combine my passion for mechanical design with the creative and technical demands of the themed entertainment industry.

Having grown up with a love for the entertainment industry, I’m excited to continue applying my technical expertise and leadership in the field. I look forward to contributing to projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in themed entertainment, delivering memorable and safe experiences for guests around the world.

Through hands-on experiences with The Walt Disney Company, GE Aerospace, and my research at Clarkson University, I’ve applied my skills in CAD modeling, ergonomics, and vibration testing to improve the safety and performance of complex systems. As the Co-Founder of the Themed Park Engineering Group (TPEG), I’ve worked closely with students and professionals to develop themed attractions that emphasize technical excellence and guest experience. My leadership and involvement in projects like prosthetic hand development and underwater robotics have also honed my ability to blend creative problem-solving with engineering precision.

I have demonstrated strong leadership through my roles as Co-Founder of the Themed Park Engineering Group (TPEG), President of the Phalanx Honorary Society, and Resident Advisor at Clarkson University. In these roles, I have led cross-functional teams, organized workshops, and facilitated student engagement initiatives. My focus on fostering collaboration, managing projects, and driving innovation has helped create impactful experiences, both in themed entertainment and in academic environments, while continuously promoting personal and professional growth among peers.
